Dr Ajay Agade is a Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care with over 14 years of dedicated experience in caring for critically ill children. He trained in both India and the United Kingdom, including advanced fellowship training at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. His unique combination of expertise as both a paediatric intensivist and respiratory physician enables him to provide comprehensive care across the full spectrum of critical illness in children.

Dr Agade specialises in managing children with respiratory failure, complex airway disorders, and those requiring advanced mechanical ventilation or long-term ventilatory support. He has particular expertise in advanced ventilation strategies, point-of-care ultrasound, thoracic imaging, and sleep medicine. He is skilled in the retrieval, transport and stabilisation of critically ill children, as well as care following transplantation and neurocritical conditions.

His dual training in intensive care and respiratory medicine allows him to take a comprehensive approach to sick children, managing them from the acute phase through recovery, rehabilitation and long-term support.
