Dr. Suhail Maqbool

Dr. Suhail Maqbool is a Specialist in Otolaryngology at Medcare with three decades of experience across India, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Srinagar, and his Master's in ENT Surgery at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. He has held senior roles including Head of the Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery at NMC Healthcare, and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate medical students at university level.

Dr. Maqbool performs the full range of ear, nose and throat procedures, including salivary gland surgery, tonsil removal, eardrum repair (tympanoplasty), mastoid surgery, stapes surgery and microscopic laryngeal work. He has particular expertise in thyroid surgery, endoscopic ear procedures and sinus surgery. He remains actively involved in clinical research, currently conducting studies to improve outcomes in neck, thyroid and ear surgery, and has published numerous papers in international journals.

He is a member of the Indian Association of Otolaryngologists and the Saudi Cancer Society. Dr. Maqbool has authored a widely-used ENT textbook now in its 12th edition, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field.
