Dr. Ahmad Fahmi Alhammada

Dr. Ahmad Fahmi Alhammada is a Consultant Paediatrician with broad experience across neonatal, inpatient, and outpatient care. He holds the Arab Board in Paediatrics and Higher Study qualification from Damascus University, plus MRCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK) and ECFMG (USA) certifications. His clinical foundation comes from training at the prestigious University Children's Hospital, Damascus University. Over his career, he has worked across Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, including roles at University Hospital Sharjah and Emirates Health Services, developing expertise in managing children from newborns through school age.

Dr. Ahmad treats a wide spectrum of childhood health needs: acute infections such as respiratory and ear infections, gastrointestinal upset, rashes, and headaches; chronic conditions including asthma, diabetes, and atopic dermatitis; and neonatal conditions like jaundice and feeding difficulties. He is skilled in emergency stabilisation of critically ill children, managing poisoning cases, severe infections, and dehydration. Beyond treating illness, he emphasises preventive care—vaccination schedules, nutrition, exercise, and safety advice—and involves families in home management strategies.

Dr. Ahmad has been a certified PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) instructor since 2023 and mentors medical students and residents at the University of Sharjah. His approach centres on compassionate, family-focused care for children and their caregivers.
