Dr. Usama Warshow

Dr. Usama Warshow is a UK-trained consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over two decades of clinical experience. He trained at St. Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospital Medical Colleges in London, completed specialist training in the South West of England and Oxford, and holds a PhD in Hepatology from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry. He has worked in the UAE since 2015 and currently practices at Mediclinic, where he is an Honorary Associate Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medical & Health Sciences.

Dr. Warshow specializes in managing liver diseases—including fatty liver, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer—as well as common gastrointestinal conditions such as acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. He is an experienced endoscopist (keyhole camera examination of the digestive tract) and holds UK accreditation from the Joint Advisory Group as both an endoscopist and colonoscopy trainer. He regularly performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy (swallowed camera pill to visualize the small bowel).
