Dr. Pradeep Kumar (Part Time)

Dr. Pradeep Kumar is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with training from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India, where he completed his MBBS in 1992 and MS in Orthopaedics in 1996. He has held senior positions across India and the Gulf, including roles at Asoka Hospital in India, Dubai Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority, and Aster MIMS in Calicut as a senior consultant in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery. He also completed a joint replacement and trauma fellowship in Schwenningen, Germany.

Dr. Kumar's core expertise centers on knee surgery and sports medicine. He manages both conservative and surgical treatment of sports injuries including ligament sprains, muscle strains, and joint injuries of the shoulder and knee. He is proficient in arthroscopic procedures such as ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscal repairs, and rotator cuff repair. He also performs cartilage restoration, knee realignment surgery (osteotomies), patella reconstruction, shoulder dislocation repair, and offers injection-based treatments including viscosupplementation and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.

Dr. Kumar holds membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) as an international affiliate and the Indian Arthroscopic Society.
