Dr. Zina Zakaria

Dr. Zina Zakaria is a Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology at Medcare Medical Centre in Sharjah. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) and specialist qualification (MD) from the University of Damascus, and holds an MSc in Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases from the same institution. She is Arab Board Certified in Dermatology and Venereology, and has received additional training in aesthetic medicine techniques including Botox, fillers, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), laser treatments, and tattoo removal.

Dr. Zakaria brings nearly a decade of experience treating all types of skin conditions. She manages acute and chronic skin diseases such as acne, eczema, hair loss, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis, as well as nail and hair disorders. She diagnoses and treats viral infections (warts, herpes), fungal and bacterial skin infections, skin discolouration, and skin cancers through screening, mapping, and treatment. She is also skilled in aesthetic procedures including Botox therapy, filler injections, mesotherapy, PRP treatments, and scar management.

Dr. Zakaria has a particular passion for paediatric dermatology and enjoys working with children's skin conditions. She practised extensively in Damascus before moving to the UAE, where she worked at International Modern Hospital before joining Medcare.
