Dr. Tetyana Proenca

Dr Tetyana Proenca is a family medicine physician practising at King's College Hospital London (Dubai). She trained at Donetsk State Medical University in Ukraine, where she completed both her bachelor's degree with honours and a PhD while working as a doctor and lecturer. After postgraduate training at Princess Royal University Hospital in London, she gained substantial experience in emergency medicine and paediatrics at Bromley and Lewisham Hospitals. She became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2019.

Dr Proenca brings broad clinical skills across acute medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, endocrinology, and orthopaedics into her family medicine practice. She holds a cytology sample taker certificate and was previously a member of the British Menopausal Society. Her approach emphasises holistic, personalised care supported by evidence-based guidelines.

She has a particular interest in lifestyle interventions, having led NHS-supported programmes focused on weight management and lifestyle changes to support type 2 diabetes remission and reduce cardiometabolic risk factors. She is fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Russian.
