Dr. Zaheer Ahmed is a specialist anaesthetist with over 26 years in clinical medicine and 16 years of focused anaesthesia practice. He graduated with his MBBS in December 1992 and completed a Master's degree in Anaesthesia, ICU, and Pain Management from AFPGMI Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 2001, followed by his Fellowship in Anaesthesia (FCPS) from CPSP Karachi in 2005. He gained extensive experience in Pakistan's leading tertiary care hospitals before relocating to Abu Dhabi in February 2010, where he has worked as a specialist anaesthetist across multiple hospitals.
Dr. Ahmed specializes in regional anaesthesia techniques including spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks across cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions. He has particular expertise in obstetric and gynaecological anaesthesia, neuro-anaesthesia, and orthopaedic cases.
