About Dr. Faraz A. Khan
Dr. Faraz A. Khan is a Consultant Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at American Hospital Dubai, with over 15 years of experience treating cancer and blood diseases. He completed his training in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology at the University of Connecticut and holds triple board certification in all three disciplines. Previously, he worked as a Consultant Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at PEI Cancer Treatment Center in Canada, where he also directed the provincial hemophilia and bleeding disorder clinic.
Dr. Khan treats a wide range of conditions across three main areas: solid tumors including breast, colon, lung, gastrointestinal and urological cancers, as well as sarcomas; hematologic (blood) malignancies such as lymphomas, leukemias, and myeloma; and benign blood disorders including anemias and bleeding conditions. He takes a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and management across all these areas.
He is active in professional leadership, serving as Chair of the Media and Public Relations Committee for the Emirates Society of Hematology and as a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
