Dr. Andrea Brockbank

Dr Andrea Brockbank is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She completed her medical degree at Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine in London, followed by postgraduate training through the Mersey Deanery in the UK National Health Service and further training in Perth, Western Australia. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and holds advanced training certificates in labour ward care and colposcopy.

Dr Brockbank specialises in high-risk pregnancy and antenatal care. She is skilled in managing all types of birth, including normal vaginal delivery, water birth, instrumental delivery (using forceps or vacuum), and caesarean section. She also offers pre-pregnancy counselling, advice on previous traumatic birth experiences, and management of recurrent miscarriage. Beyond obstetrics, she manages a range of gynaecological conditions including abnormal periods (dysfunctional uterine bleeding), menopause, family planning, and abnormal cervical changes detected on screening.

Before joining Mediclinic, Dr Brockbank worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Dubai for over five years, including a role as Medical Director. She is committed to woman-centred care and clear communication with her patients.
