Dr. Mahesh Neelala

Dr. Mahesh Neelala is a consultant interventional radiologist with over 13 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He trained and worked across UK hospitals before joining Mediclinic City Hospital, where he serves in the Radiology and Interventional Radiology departments, including the Comprehensive Cancer Centre. During his time in the UK, he held clinical leadership roles as Clinical Director and served as Endovascular Lead at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where he designed and developed endovascular radiology services.

Dr. Neelala specializes in both vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures. He has extensive experience with vascular techniques including angiograms, angioplasties, and stents for peripheral vascular disease, particularly in diabetic patients. He has performed over 150 aortic stent-graft placements for abdominal aortic aneurysms. His non-vascular interventional work includes gastrointestinal and urological procedures, with particular expertise in image-guided cancer treatments. He is also skilled in diagnostic imaging across ultrasound, CT, and MRI body scans.

Dr. Neelala brings clinical governance and quality assurance experience from his UK leadership roles. His practice combines advanced imaging diagnosis with minimally invasive therapeutic techniques, making him well-suited to patients requiring complex vascular or cancer-related interventions.
