Dr. Haroon Rashid Naqshi

Dr Haroon Rashid Naqshi is a cardiothoracic surgeon with 7 years of experience in heart, lung and blood vessel surgery. He trained at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Kashmir, completing his master's degree in surgery in 2014 and his specialist qualification in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery in 2017, including an externship at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Most recently, he completed an advanced fellowship in cardiac surgery at the National Heart Centre Singapore in 2024, where he trained in complex procedures including heart transplants and major aortic surgery.

Dr Naqshi performs a wide range of heart and chest operations, from routine valve repairs and replacements to complex bypass surgery and minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He also treats aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular diseases, and performs thoracic surgery for lung tumours and other chest conditions. Earlier in his career, he worked as an independent cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon across several hospitals in Kashmir before joining NMC Healthcare in Dubai.
