Dr. Scott Carey Barr

Dr. Scott Barr is a Staff Physician in the Emergency Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He completed his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in 2022, he spent seven years as an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida, and two years in the same role at St. Luke's Hospital in New York.

Throughout his 17-year career, Dr. Barr has earned recognition for both his clinical care and his collaborative approach with colleagues. He has received the Exceptional Care Award from Cleveland Clinic Florida and a Peer Recognition Award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, reflecting his commitment to patient care and teamwork in the emergency department.
