Dr. Fathi Azribi

Dr. Fathi Azribi is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist with extensive experience treating all major cancer types. He trained at Al-Fateh University in Libya and completed specialist oncology training in the United Kingdom, where he obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training in Medical Oncology and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians. He has held consultant positions across the UK, Libya, and the UAE, and led the Medical Oncology Division at Tawam Hospital from 2017 to 2022.

Dr. Azribi's main clinical focus is on breast, lung, and pleural cancers, alongside gynecological cancers (ovarian, fallopian tube, uterine, and cervical), and gastrointestinal cancers (esophageal, gastric, colon, and rectal). He also treats liver and pancreatic cancers, sarcomas, melanomas, neuroendocrine tumors, and cancers of unknown origin. He is experienced in all modern systemic treatments, including chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Azribi is deeply committed to medical education and research. He established the first Medical Oncology Fellowship program in the UAE and currently holds appointments as an adjunct clinical professor at Gulf Medical University and adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Sharjah. He is an active member of major oncology societies (EOS, ASCO, ESMO) and regularly presents at international conferences. He strongly advocates for multidisciplinary team approaches and respects patients' cultural values and preferences in shared decision-making.
