Dr. Agata Moscicka

Dr. Agata Moscicka is a neonatologist and pediatric specialist with over 20 years of experience caring for newborns in intensive care settings. She completed her medical degree at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan and specialized in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the Post-graduate Medical Center in Warsaw, Poland, where she worked for 23 years in a Level 4 neonatal intensive care unit. She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences and has trained internationally at the University of Louisville and University of Illinois in the USA. She now brings this expertise to the UAE, where she has managed NICUs at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai, Al Zahra Dubai, and Bright Point Royal Women's Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Moscicka treats the full spectrum of newborn conditions requiring intensive care, including respiratory distress syndrome, persistent pulmonary hypertension, necrotizing enterocolitis, brain injury from lack of oxygen, and congenital birth defects. She is skilled in advanced breathing support techniques (CPAP, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and others), specialized therapies like inhaled nitric oxide and therapeutic cooling for brain protection, neonatal heart ultrasound, and specialized nutrition for premature infants.
