Dr. Tharaa Shatara

Dr. Tharaa Shatara is an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai. She holds the MRCEM qualification (Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine) and is trained in advanced life support, cardiac and paediatric resuscitation, and trauma management. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Before joining Mediclinic, Dr. Shatara worked at Rashid Hospital Trauma Centre, one of the region's busiest trauma facilities. There, she managed critically ill patients and those with multiple injuries, developing strong clinical skills in emergency stabilization and acute care. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support, allowing her to care for patients of all ages during medical emergencies.

Dr. Shatara's expertise spans advanced life support, emergency ultrasound, emergency procedures, and the management of life-threatening conditions. She combines her trauma centre experience with her current hospital role to provide timely, effective care for patients in urgent situations.
