Dr. Samer Obeidat

Dr. Samer Obeidat is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 14 years of experience in urology, andrology and uro-oncology. He trained in the UK through Mersey Deanery in Liverpool, where he became one of the principal laparoscopic surgeons at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals and an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He holds British Board Certification (CCT-UK) and fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the European Board of Urology. Since 2017, he has practised at American Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Obeidat's main areas of expertise are kidney and bladder stone surgery, andrology (including fertility problems and erectile dysfunction), and urological cancers, with a particular focus on kidney cancer. He is trained in robotic surgery for partial kidney removal, pyeloplasty (repair of the ureter) and prostate removal. He also performs minimal access laparoscopic and open surgery for upper urinary tract problems, endoscopic procedures, and genital procedures.

He takes a personalised approach to patient care, tailoring treatment plans to each person's individual needs. Dr. Obeidat is fluent in both English and Arabic.
