Dr. Juan Maria Ibarra O. Co

Dr. Juan Co is a Consultant Endocrinologist with more than 15 years of experience in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He has held leadership roles including Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center and serves as a member of the Board of Regents of the Philippine College of Physicians. He is a Fellow of both the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine College of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Dr. Co specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of hormonal disorders. His clinical expertise covers diabetes mellitus (including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy), thyroid dysfunction and nodules, obesity and weight management, osteoporosis and calcium-related diseases, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, and hormone-related high blood pressure. He also treats low testosterone in men.

He takes a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to care, believing in treating the whole person rather than just the disease. Dr. Co works with each patient to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and concerns.
