Dr. Himanshu Chauhan

Dr. Himanshu Chauhan is an Associate Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He brings 25 years of clinical experience, having trained and worked across leading medical institutions in India before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in 2017. His career includes roles as an Associate Professor at Subharti Medical College in Meerut and senior residency at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.

Dr. Chauhan specializes in perioperative anesthesia management—the anesthesia care provided before, during, and after surgery. He has particular expertise in difficult airway management, regional nerve blocks to reduce surgical pain, pain and palliative care for cancer patients, and ultrasound-guided central line insertion. His clinical experience spans anesthesia for pediatric surgery, orthopedic and trauma procedures, maxillofacial surgeries, and ear, nose and throat operations.
