Dr. Yamen Elmuganni

Dr. Yamen Elmuganni is a Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah. He holds Arab Board Certification in Paediatrics and Neonatology, along with fellowships from the American Board of Paediatrics and Neonatology and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He is a European Neonatal Life Support Instructor and a member of the Arab Board of Paediatrics and the Emirates Paediatric and Neonatal Society.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Elmuganni specialises in newborn and child care, including premature and extremely low birthweight infants. He treats a wide range of paediatric conditions — chronic cough, asthma, allergies, eczema, atopic dermatitis, bowel dysfunction, and growth delays — and manages child obesity using international guidelines. He also identifies and manages common childhood and adolescent illnesses, monitors child development, and implements preventive health measures.

Former Head of Department at Al Qassimi Hospital for Women and Children, Dr. Elmuganni has taught at Sharjah University and Ajman Medical College as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor. He is dedicated to parent education, providing comprehensive newborn discharge plans and Basic Life Support training. He actively participates in medical research and international conferences, and has received the Sharjah Medical District Best Physician Award.
