Dr. Mitali Dhawal Modi

Dr. Mitali Modi is a Specialist Pulmonologist with seven years of experience in respiratory medicine. She completed her MBBS from SMIMER Medical College, Surat, India in 2010, followed by postgraduate training including her DNB from KIMS Hospital in Kerala (2015) and DTCD from Government Medical College, Surat (2013). She received specialized training in flexible bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and has worked as a Consultant Pulmonologist at Krishna Multispecialty Hospital before joining Burjeel.

Dr. Modi treats a wide range of lung and breathing conditions, from common obstructive airway diseases like asthma and COPD to more complex conditions including tuberculosis, interstitial lung diseases, and lung cancer. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy procedures, pulmonary function testing, and manages sleep-related breathing disorders. She also provides critical care for acute respiratory conditions including ARDS and respiratory failure, palliative care for advanced lung cancer, and smoking cessation support.
