Dr. Reda Tolba

Dr. Reda Tolba is Division Chair of Pain Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Neurological Institute, bringing 18 years of clinical experience and international expertise in treating chronic pain. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and holds dual board certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties in both pain medicine and anesthesiology. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Tolba served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Associate Program Director at Wake Forest University Medical Center, and as Founding Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, where he established the health system's first multidisciplinary pain fellowship program.

Dr. Tolba specializes in interventional pain management and neuromodulation—advanced techniques using electrical stimulation to treat chronic nerve and structural pain. He has performed hundreds of innovative neuromodulation procedures and regularly presents his work at national and international conferences. His clinical interests span chronic back pain, neck pain, knee and hip pain, sciatica, migraine, pelvic pain, and abdominal pain. He is an active member of major professional societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, where he serves on multiple committees and taskforces focused on pain management innovation.
