Dr. Jamshed Khan

Dr. Jamshed Khan is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he also serves as Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency. He obtained his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship in geriatrics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Khan brings extensive experience in acute hospital medicine, geriatric care, and end-of-life management. He is board certified in both internal medicine and geriatrics, and previously held certification in palliative care. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a hospitalist and palliative care consultant at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he cared for acutely ill patients in the hospital setting. He has also served as a medical director for hospice services, supporting patients and families at the end of life.

Dr. Khan is a good fit for patients who require management of complex medical conditions in a hospital setting, older adults with multiple health concerns, or those seeking compassionate end-of-life care planning and support.
