Dr. Husni Al Hateeti

Dr. Husni Al Hateeti is a Consultant in Haematology and Oncology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 25 years of clinical experience. He previously served as lead physician in haematology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for more than a decade, and now leads the lymphoma and benign haematology programmes at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. His training includes a medical degree and master's degree in internal medicine from Damascus University, along with specialist qualifications from the Syrian Ministry of Health.

Dr. Al Hateeti manages a wide range of blood disorders and cancers, with particular expertise in lymphoma (blood cancers affecting white blood cells) and rare haematology conditions such as HLH, PNH, TTP/HUS, and inherited storage disorders including Gaucher disease, beta-thalassemia, and other blood-protein abnormalities (hemoglobinopathies). He has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in international multi-centre clinical trials and has published research in regional medical journals.
