Dr. Mohamed Attia

Dr. Mohamed Attia is a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi with over 30 years of clinical experience. He holds a Master's degree in Anesthesia from Cairo University, Egypt, and a Doctorate from Zagazig University, Egypt. He previously served as a Professor of Anesthesia and ICU at Sharjah University Hospital in the UAE and as an Assistant Professor at King Saud University Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Attia specializes in managing complex cases involving difficult airways, lung isolation during chest surgery, and awake intubation using fiber-optic techniques. He is highly skilled in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and central line insertion, and has particular expertise in anesthesia for heart and vascular surgery, brain surgery, chest surgery, and pediatric procedures. He regularly conducts international workshops teaching colleagues advanced techniques in regional anesthesia and fiber-optic intubation.
