Dr. Subi Krishnan

Dr. Subi Krishnan is an anesthesiologist with over five years of clinical experience across cardiac, regional, and obstetric anesthesia. He trained initially as a Cardiac Anesthetist at Apollo Hospital in Chennai for two years, where he gained expertise in anesthesia for complex cardiac procedures. He then joined Panimalar Medical College and Research Institute as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia, where he has combined clinical practice with medical education for the past three years.

He specializes in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, regional and general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care, and labor analgesia. His clinical work spans a wide range of surgical cases, and he has published research on anesthetic drug combinations, pain management during spinal procedures, and specialized cases such as anesthesia in pregnancy with complex medical conditions. He is skilled in nerve-block techniques and has research interests in optimizing anesthetic agents and managing patient complications like shivering under anesthesia.
