Dr. Cindy Tran

Cindy Tran is a clinical psychologist from Sydney, Australia with more than a decade of experience treating mental health conditions. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class 1) in 2007 and a Master of Clinical Psychology in 2009. Throughout her 13 years of practice in Australia, she has worked across hospital, day-patient and outpatient settings in both public and private sectors, gaining extensive experience with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders and relationship challenges.

In her previous role as Team Leader at a tertiary state-wide eating disorders service, Cindy led the development of an intensive outpatient program for adults with eating disorders. She is trained in delivering specialised eating disorder treatments including Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management, Maudsley Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults, and Family-Based Treatment. Beyond clinical work, she has provided training and supervision to trainee psychologists and clinicians as a Board-approved supervisor and Program Coordinator for the Adult Eating Disorders Project ECHO.

Cindy works with older adolescents and adults using evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She is committed to tailoring treatment to each individual's needs.
