Dr. Mohammed Andron

Dr. Mohammed Andron is a consultant interventional cardiologist who trained at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, the largest heart centre in the UK, where he completed his specialist training and worked as a substantive consultant. He has performed over 5000 cases of coronary intervention and brings extensive experience in managing the full spectrum of heart conditions.

Dr. Andron specializes in complex coronary interventions including rotablation (a technique that uses a rotating burr to break down hard plaque), treatment of chronic total occlusions (blocked arteries that have been closed for a long time), and complex bifurcation lesions (blockages at artery branches). He uses advanced imaging techniques such as intravascular ultrasound and optical coherence tomography to guide precise treatment. He is also highly experienced in implanting pacemakers, defibrillators, and specialized biventricular devices for patients with heart failure.

Beyond intervention, Dr. Andron performs non-invasive cardiac tests including echocardiography and trans-oesophageal echocardiography.
