Dr. Veronica Grassi

Dr. Veronica Grassi is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon with over 15 years of experience and more than 5000 operations performed. She trained in general surgery at the University of Milan, then completed specialist training in oncoplastic breast surgery in the UK at leading centres including Guy's and St Thomas, Queen Elizabeth Birmingham, and King's College Hospital. She was Clinical Lead of the Breast Surgery Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust before joining Mediclinic.

Dr. Grassi specialises in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, and breast-conserving techniques using oncoplastic and mammoplasty methods. She performs sentinel node surgery, immediate and delayed breast reconstruction, and breast lipomodelling—a technique she learnt in France. She also manages benign breast disease, breast screening, and prophylactic breast surgery. Her approach combines the latest surgical techniques with careful attention to minimising both physical and psychological impact of treatment.
