Dr. Anjum Ara

Ms. Anjum Ara is a Clinical Dietitian at Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah with over 15 years of experience in hospital-based nutrition and lifestyle management. She holds an M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management and has built her career on evidence-based dietary care across diverse patient populations.

Her clinical expertise spans diabetes education, nutritional management for patients undergoing bariatric (weight-loss) surgery, nutrition for critically ill patients, and pediatric nutrition. She provides diet counseling for all disease-related conditions and has completed specialized training in practical diabetology to deepen her knowledge of diabetes management. Ms. Ara has also contributed to research on nutritional assessment in children with Type 1 diabetes and authored a patient-friendly educational booklet titled 'Living Healthy with Diabetes'.
