Dr. Zeyad M Habahbeh

Dr. Zeyad Habahbeh is a consultant paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in child health. He began his career at King Hussein Medical Centre, one of Jordan's leading tertiary hospitals, where he completed broad training across neonatology, kidney disease, blood cancers, stomach disorders, neurology, endocrinology and paediatric intensive care before specialising in allergy and immunology.

He trained as a fellow in paediatric allergy, immunology and rheumatology at King Hussein Medical Centre for three years, then spent a year as a postdoctoral research fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University in the USA, deepening his expertise in allergic and autoimmune conditions in children. Since 2014, he has led the paediatric allergy, immunology and rheumatology division at his previous institution before moving to the UAE in 2017. Dr. Habahbeh has published in medical journals and regularly participates in conferences to stay current with advances in his field.

He treats a wide range of allergic and immune conditions in children, from food and skin allergies to asthma and recurrent infections, as well as autoimmune diseases such as childhood arthritis and vasculitis. His approach includes managing vaccination in children with weakened immune systems, making him a good fit for families whose children have complex or multiple allergies, ongoing infections, or autoimmune conditions.
