Dr. Ashwin Rajendra Saboo

Dr. Ashwin Rajendra Saboo is a neonatologist with 12 years of experience in newborn and infant critical care. He trained in the UK at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and completed specialist neonatology training there in 2014, followed by additional bridging training in Abu Dhabi. He now practises at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, where he manages complex cases in newborn intensive care.

Dr. Saboo has particular expertise in caring for premature babies, treating newborn diseases, and managing critically ill infants requiring intensive support. He has completed advanced training in neonatal resuscitation, airway management, vascular access, and cranial ultrasound. His clinical experience spans both UK and Middle Eastern settings, giving him familiarity with international neonatal care standards.

Beyond direct patient care, he is passionate about teaching and education. He previously taught paediatric postgraduate students in Mumbai and has been a contributing author on medical education platforms since 2011. He is also interested in health promotion and preventive care, often sharing knowledge through social media.
