Dr. Anees Zubaidi

Dr. Anees Zubaidi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in Dubai. He holds Swedish board certifications in both Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Internal Medicine, and completed advanced training in endoscopic obesity treatment in the UK and advanced endoscopy and ERCP (a procedure to treat bile duct problems) in China. He is a member of both the European Society of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Endoscopy.

Dr. Zubaidi treats a wide range of digestive and liver conditions using both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy — minimally invasive techniques using a camera to examine and treat the stomach, bowel, and oesophagus. He specialises in endoscopic weight-loss procedures including Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty and intragastric balloon placement, and manages complex liver diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver, and autoimmune liver disorders. He also has expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, reflux disorders, small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and pancreatic conditions.
