Dr. Nahla Kazim

Dr Nahla Kazim is a Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology with over 15 years of clinical experience across the UAE. An Emirati physician, she completed her medical degree followed by a Master's and Doctorate in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, UK, in 2010. She currently practices at Mediclinic across multiple locations including Bourn Hall Clinic, Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital, and Mediclinic Al Yahar, bringing a wealth of expertise in advanced fertility care.

Dr Kazim's clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of reproductive medicine: fertility preservation for both women and men, assisted reproductive technology including in vitro fertilization (IVF), genetic screening and diagnosis, and management of complex infertility cases. She has particular expertise in handling high-risk ovarian stimulation, recurrent miscarriages, recurrent implantation failures, and ovarian rejuvenation techniques. Her approach combines couple-based treatment with individualized care, addressing both female and male reproductive health concerns.

Having held senior leadership roles as Scientific Director at Fakih IVF Fertility Center Al Ain and Chief Administrator at Tawam Fertility Center, Dr Kazim is deeply invested in advancing the field. She is an active member of major international societies including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, British Fertility Society, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, and the International Fertility Preservation Society. Fluent in both English and Arabic, she is particularly interested in emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality applications in reproductive medicine, ensuring her care remains at the forefront of the specialty.
