Dr. Anusmitha Augustine

Ms. Anusmitha Augustine is a clinical dietitian licensed by the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, with over 6 years of hands-on experience in nutrition care. She completed her Master's in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2015 as the university's first-rank holder, followed by her Bachelor's degree in 2013. She has worked in JCI and NABH-accredited hospitals in India, including Aster MIMS Hospital and Medical Trust Hospital in Kerala, before joining NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Anusmitha specializes in managing chronic conditions through personalized dietary guidance. Her expertise spans renal and liver diseases, diabetes management, cardiovascular nutrition, and specialized feeding approaches (enteral and parenteral nutrition). She also provides prenatal and postnatal nutrition counseling for expectant and new mothers. She stays current with evidence-based practice by attending conferences and workshops locally and internationally.

She takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach to nutrition care, tailoring dietary plans to individual health needs and conditions.
