Dr. Lara Koussayer

Dr Lara Koussayer is a Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with more than 12 years of experience in Abu Dhabi. She received her MBBS in 2008 and holds Arab Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has worked across governmental and private hospitals before joining Mediclinic, building broad expertise across her specialty.

Dr Koussayer's practice spans high-risk pregnancy management (including multiple pregnancies, cervical incompetency, and pregnancies complicated by conditions like diabetes or hypertension), infertility and recurrent miscarriage, gynaecological conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and abnormal bleeding, and cancer screening. She offers both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and regenerative gynaecology procedures, alongside family planning and contraception services.

She has pursued advanced training beyond her medical degree, earning Master's degrees in Cosmetic Gynaecology (2019), Reproductive Medicine (2020), and Uro-Gynaecology (2022), and completing an advanced preceptorship in Aesthetic Regenerative and Functional Gynaecology. Dr Koussayer is fluent in Arabic and English, and committed to personalised, compassionate care while staying current with advances in her field.
