Dr. Nancy Israel

Dr. Nancy is a paediatrician specialising in blood disorders and cancers in children, currently working at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai. She completed her medical degree at Cairo University in 2007, followed by postgraduate training and fellowship at the National Cancer Institute Cairo in 2010 — one of the largest cancer centres in the Middle East. With over 15 years of experience, she has built deep expertise in diagnosing and managing childhood cancer across the full age range from birth to 18 years.

Dr. Nancy treats a wide spectrum of childhood conditions. On the blood-disorder side, she manages benign conditions like anaemia, sickle cell disease, thalassaemia, and bleeding disorders, as well as malignant blood cancers including acute leukaemia and lymphoma. She also specialises in solid tumours such as neuroblastoma, kidney cancer (nephroblastoma), and bone cancers. A key part of her work involves managing the side effects and complications of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in young patients.
