Dr. Begur Dinakar

Dr. Begur Dinakar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at NMC Medical Centre, Rolla, with over 25 years of clinical experience in orthopedic surgery and trauma care. He completed his MBBS in 1982 and specialist qualification (MS in Orthopaedics) in 1986 from Bangalore Medical College, India. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow, UK), a credential that reflects his advanced training and expertise.

Early in his career, Dr. Dinakar worked as a Lecturer in Orthopaedics at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in India before relocating to the UAE. He spent 15 years at Fujairah MOH Hospital, then joined New Sunny Medical Centre in 2010. His clinical practice covers the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions—from routine bone and joint disorders to complex trauma cases, fracture management, and sports injuries. He has also contributed to the field through academic publications, with several peer-reviewed papers in international journals.
