Dr. Judit Konya

Dr. Judit Konya is a UK-trained Consultant in Family Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to people of all ages. She qualified with a medical degree from the University of Debrecen in Hungary, then completed specialist training and research qualifications in the United Kingdom, including a doctorate from Hull York Medical School. She holds full UK General Medical Council registration and MRCGP certification from the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Konya manages a broad spectrum of acute conditions—such as coughs, colds, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and headaches—alongside chronic diseases including heart failure, COPD, asthma, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and musculoskeletal problems. She has particular expertise in metabolic conditions (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, gout, pre-diabetes), preventive medicine, health screening, lifestyle management, and women's health issues including menopause. Before joining American Hospital Dubai, she worked in primary care at Carn to Coast Health Centres in South West England and held an Academic Clinical Lecturer post at the University of Exeter, combining clinical practice with research to advance evidence-based medicine.
