Dr. Dr.Naji Yazbek

Dr. Naji Yazbek is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience across the USA, Lebanon, and the UAE. He earned his MD with Distinction from the American University of Beirut in 1996, followed by residency and fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic and Baylor Methodist-Debakey Heart Center in Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology, and holds fellowships from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr. Yazbek specialises in treating blocked and narrowed arteries through minimally invasive keyhole techniques, particularly using wrist access (radial approach) for coronary interventions. This approach allows patients to walk immediately and return home the same day. He performs advanced procedures including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, ultrasound imaging of arteries (IVUS), pressure measurements (FFR), and peripheral interventions on leg, arm, and kidney arteries. His clinic also offers comprehensive heart investigations: ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, cardiac CT scanning, and cardiac MRI.

Throughout his career, Dr. Yazbek has been recognised for excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching. He served as Chief of Medical Staff (2008–2015) and helped establish the cardiology department at a major Dubai hospital. He holds an adjunct professorship at the University of Sharjah and is considered one of Dubai's leading interventional cardiologists. He joined Al Zahra Hospital Dubai in August 2025.
