Dr. Mohammed Khalil

Dr. Mohammed Khalil is a Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, where he also leads the Imaging and Non-invasive Cardiology section. With 30 years of clinical experience, he trained in internal medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York before completing three years of subspecialty training in cardiovascular disease at Montefiore Medical Center. He went on to pursue advanced training in cardiac MRI and CT imaging at the Heart Center of Indiana.

Dr. Khalil's clinical focus centers on diagnosing and managing heart conditions using advanced imaging techniques. Before relocating to Abu Dhabi, he spent 13 years at UnityPoint Health in Iowa, where he directed imaging services and helped establish both the Heart Failure Program and Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing Program. His research interests focus on improving the quality and accuracy of cardiovascular diagnostic imaging methods.
