Dr. Salam Alhasani

Dr. Salam Alhasani is a consultant urologist with almost 20 years of professional and teaching experience. He graduated from Al-Mustanseryia University in Baghdad, Iraq in 1998 with an honours degree, then completed specialist training through the Arab Board and Jordanian Board in Urology by 2004. He holds MRCS credentials from Dublin (2006) and a Diploma in Laparoscopic Urological Surgery from France (2009). He spent over a decade as a consultant urologist at Dubai Health Authority and has also worked in Jordan's leading urology centre; he is currently an Assistant Professor at Dubai Medical College, teaching both postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Dr. Alhasani specializes in endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques across a broad range of urological conditions. He manages kidney and ureteric stones using shock-wave therapy, ureteroscopy, and percutaneous approaches without large incisions. He performs advanced keyhole (laparoscopic) urology, treats bladder and prostate cancers using modern technologies, and has particular expertise in men's sexual health—offering both surgical options (such as penile implants) and newer non-surgical treatments. For women, he manages bladder dysfunction and incontinence with minimally invasive surgery. He is experienced in laser and other advanced techniques for prostate enlargement.

Dr. Alhasani is recognized for his academic contributions, with numerous publications throughout his career. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, and an active member of the European and Canadian Urology Associations.
