Dr. Ahmed Omran

Dr. Ahmed Omran is a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, with over 22 years of clinical experience. He holds an MD and PhD in both Anesthesia and Intensive Care from Ain Shams University in Egypt, along with the European Diploma in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, European Diploma in Pain Medicine, and a Diploma in Interventional Pain Management. He trained at leading institutions including Montpellier University, Pain School International (Budapest), and Harvard University, where he completed advanced programs in safety, quality, and clinical research.

Dr. Omran specializes in interventional pain management using ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance, including advanced nerve blocks (peripheral, neuraxial, and facial blocks), regional anesthesia, and perioperative care. His clinical expertise covers cardiac and transplant anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia for complex cases, oncologic and orthopedic anesthesia, and procedural skills such as echocardiography and bronchoscopy. He has published research on critical care management and pain techniques, and is an active member of the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, the European Society of Pain Management, and the Egyptian Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Omran brings a multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain and perioperative management, combining clinical innovation with evidence-based practice. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
