Dr. Leslie Neems

Dr. Leslie Neems is a Staff Physician in the Ophthalmology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Surgical Institute. She is an American board-certified oculoplastic surgeon and fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, with 13 years of clinical experience. She completed her medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, an ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, and a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastics and orbital surgery at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Neems specializes in surgical treatment of the eyebrows, eyelids, orbit, lacrimal system (tear ducts), and midface. She treats conditions including droopy eyelids, eyelid cancer, orbital cancer, facial palsy, blepharospasm, and blocked tear ducts. Her particular expertise includes cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), eyelid reconstruction, lacrimal system surgery, and reconstructive surgery following trauma and skin cancer removal.

Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Neems was an oculoplastic surgeon in Tucson, Arizona, where she served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona and Staff Physician at the Southern Arizona Veterans Hospital. She previously held leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, including area chief of ophthalmology.
