Dr. Salma Yassine

Dr. Salma Yassine is a consultant ophthalmologist with expertise in paediatric and neuro-ophthalmology. She trained at the American University of Beirut, where she completed her medical degree in 2016 and ophthalmology residency in 2020. She then pursued specialized fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota and in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Children's National Medical Centre in Washington DC, gaining international experience across the USA and Lebanon.

Dr. Yassine manages a range of eye conditions affecting children and adults, including vision problems related to nerve function, eye movement disorders, and high pressure inside the eye. She has conducted research on intracranial hypertension and nanophthalmos (abnormally small eyes), with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
