Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Maki Ebrahim

Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Maki Ebrahim is an Allergy and Immunology Consultant at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He trained in both paediatric and adult allergy and immunology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York from 2020 to 2022, and holds board certification from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He also completed paediatric training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center from 2017 to 2020 with American Board certification in paediatrics. He graduated with his medical degree (MBBCh BAO) from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Bahrain in 2014.

Dr. Ebrahim has approximately 3 years of specialist experience in allergy and immunology. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of allergic and immune conditions in both children and adults, including environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, allergic skin diseases, nasal polyps, and drug allergies. He also manages immune deficiency disorders, recurrent infections, and early-onset inflammatory conditions. His clinical practice includes performing skin allergy testing, conducting allergen challenges, and delivering immunotherapy treatments such as subcutaneous, sublingual, and oral desensitization.

Dr. Ebrahim joins Danat Al Emarat from Bahrain Specialist Hospital, where he worked as a consultant since January 2023. He combines his training in general paediatrics with specialist allergy expertise, offering care that spans from preventive health to management of complex immune disorders.
