Dr. Ravi Nayak

Dr. Ravi Nayak is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at NMC Specialty Hospital in Dubai with 19 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at Nair Hospital in Mumbai and his MS in Orthopaedics from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, followed by a Diplomate qualification from the National Board of Examinations. He trained at leading centres in India, the USA, and Germany, including New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases and facilities in Kansas and Karlsruhe.

Dr. Nayak specialises in knee surgery, hip surgery, joint replacement, arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), sports medicine, orthopaedic trauma, and shoulder and elbow surgery. He holds a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and has authored research published in respected journals including Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research and the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an active member of major professional bodies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Before moving to Dubai, Dr. Nayak worked as a consultant knee and shoulder surgeon at leading hospitals in Mumbai and served as faculty, training postgraduate students. He is currently Honorary Secretary of the Indian Orthopaedic Club in the UAE and Middle East. He speaks fluent English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Gujarati, and Kannada.
