Dr. Ghodratollah Nowrasteh

Dr. Ghodratollah Nowrasteh is a surgical oncologist with 25 years of experience and a doctorate from the Medical University of Pécs in Hungary. He holds specialist qualifications in breast surgery from the European Board of Surgery (Belgium) and in surgical oncology from the European Board of Surgical Oncology. He has taught at UAE University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and worked as a consultant surgeon at Tawam Hospital (affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine) in Al Ain, where he led cases in surgical oncology.

Dr. Nowrasteh has extensive experience in cancer surgery, including breast, thyroid, colorectal, and soft tissue tumours. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques for hernia repair, gallbladder removal, appendectomy, and gastrointestinal procedures. He also performs colorectal and proctology surgeries (fistula, haemorrhoids, pilonidal sinus treatment). He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds GMC certification from the United Kingdom. Dr. Nowrasteh is an active member of multiple surgical and public health societies.
