Dr. Ahmed Allam

Dr. Ahmed Allam is Chief of Neurosurgery at Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai, with over 20 years of experience in neurosurgery and spine care. He graduated from Cairo University in 2003, completed his residency in 2008, and earned his doctorate in Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery in 2012. He subsequently served as Lecturer and Associate Professor at Cairo University before relocating to the UAE, where he has practiced for the past 10 years in both public and private institutions.

Dr. Allam has completed advanced training in complex spine surgery, skull base surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, and robotic and image-guided surgery at prestigious centers across Germany, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Egypt, and the USA. He has performed more than 3,500 major surgical procedures and specializes in complex spine revision surgery, spine deformity and scoliosis correction, minimally invasive spine surgery, spine tumors, brain tumors, and pediatric neurosurgery. He is proficient in modern navigation, augmented reality, robotic, and computer-assisted image-guided surgical techniques.

Dr. Allam is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Mohamed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and conducts training courses for major medical companies including J&J, Depuy Synthes, Brain Lab, and Stryker. He is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society, and has been invited as faculty to numerous international conferences. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
