Dr. Mohamed Amin El-Gohary

Dr. Mohamed Amin El-Gohary is a Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi with more than 46 years of surgical experience. He trained and practiced across Egypt, the UK, and Germany, and has conducted charity surgical missions in Sudan, Eritrea, and Yemen. Internationally recognized for his contributions to pediatric and neonatal surgery, he holds board certification (FRCS) and has received multiple prestigious awards including a Gold Medal from the Royal College of Ireland.

Dr. El-Gohary's clinical expertise spans general pediatric surgery, neonatal surgery (surgery for newborns), pediatric urology, gastrointestinal surgery, and advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures. He is credited with innovating several laparoscopic techniques in pediatric surgery and is known for describing a unique surgical finding called "Gohary's phenomenon." He is fluent in English and Arabic.

His career reflects deep commitment to advancing pediatric surgical care and medical education. He has served as Visiting Professor at universities in Germany, Eritrea, and Sudan, and held the role of Vice Dean at Gulf Medical College in Ajman.
